Policy

I accept ham radio sponsorship requests from firms whose primary market is ham radio or amateur radio. Such firms must - both in my opinion and that of the majority of my fellow amateur radio operators - provide products and/or services of the highest quality.

About Reviews

Product or services reviews, published on HamRadioSecrets.com, are generally written well before a firm becomes a sponsor. I limit my reviews to the product or service I know well because I have bought and use it or them.

In other words, I do not write and publish a review on my site unless I am very satisfied with the product and/or service a given firm provides.

My reviews remain the same, whether the firm is a sponsor or not of HamRadioSecrets.com.

Sponsor Ad Positioning

Site sponsor ads are given a prominent position in the top portion of the right-hand column. As a result, these ads appear on all my site's pages.

Consequently, site sponsor ads are viewed some 30,000 times per month.

Understandably, only firms having earned the highest regard from the ham radio community are awarded the high visibility HamRadioSecrets.com provides.

Qualifying Sponsors Only

Furthermore, I only accept one qualifying sponsor per category, at any given time. The sponsor must mostly cater to the ham radio community. At this time, the ham radio - amateur radio - categories are as follows:

• retailer (preferably shipping internationally)
• antennas, parts and accessories
• SDR (software defined radio)
• software
• receivers and transceivers
• kits
• towers
• antenna tuners
• test equipment
• services (installation, repair, etc.)

If you would like to become a site sponsor of HamRadioSecrets.com, and your product or service does not fall within one of the categories listed above (e.g. SWL), please apply anyway! I will review your offer and let you know if you qualify and where you stand in the waiting list! :-)
